THE MOTIVES OF COSMOPOLITANISM IN THE LYRICAL COLLECTION “POET, OKEAN I RYBA” AND IN THE COLLECTION OF ESSAYS “UZDOVZH OKEANU NA ROVERI” BY VASYL MAKHNO

In the article attempt of comprehension motives cosmopolitanism in Vasyl Makhno`s work based on material lyrical collection "Poet, okean i ryba" and essays "Uzdovzh okeanu na roveri" is made. On basis texts collections principles author’s identification artistic world works essayistic are analyzed, ideas as universal human values that prevail over ethnic problems artist`s worldview. Furthermore, origins idea also substantiated, representing formation transformation author`s worldview Ukrainian author who lives American continent. Due to categories "presence" "belonging" place, methods reconstruction reproduction search for own identity analyzed. topoi examined through category “journey”, which common different worlds lyric essays, reflection "location". It concluded that, while acting various guises, among guise "foreigner" important, appears recipient a cosmopolitan striving harmony "self". analyzed poems by V.
